Authorities are on the look out for a man who disguised himself as a woman to rob a bank.

The robber donned a short blond wig, sunglasses, a nurses coat and carried a black bag on April 7 at the Wells Fargo Bank, 7080 N. Oracle Road.

He went in to the bank around 4:45 p.m. and demanded money from a teller, said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff´s Department spokeswoman. He implied he had a gun in his bag.

He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and a dye pack, which was activated.

The robber is a 40- to 50-year-old man and is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall, Barkman said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is urged to call 911 or 88-CRIME the anonymous tip line of the Pima County Attorney´s Office.
