Some might say this is not a Trans topic, but it could easily be.

The news item below talks of what the Nazis planned for Blackpool if they won the war, fortunatly they lost, so we CAN walk around Blackpool in a dress without being sent to a concentration camp :(

Heh!...... I can just imagine the "Führer"....... Standing on the top of an open top tram, doing a Nazi salute, running up and down the prom with Goebbels turning the handle of a gramaphone playing "Deutschland über alles";Whilst the citizens of Blackpool, lining the route, chucking Rose petals as he passes by

I can see it now!.... A grey painted tram with Neon Swastickers that blink on and off when It's the Illumination!......:D

Hopefuly..... Nobody would have told him about the overhead catenery!... I can just see him now electrocuting himself when thrusts his arm at 45 degrees giving the salute to the Mayor!

I always wondered about Blackpol not being targeted, they Built Fighters at the Stanley Park Areodrome were the Zoo is now & Blackpool Airport was A bomber Factory, Talot Road Bus Station Car park was A munitions factory Fililng Shels, this I know because my Mum worked there, the only bomibng we had was Seed St which was by the Ramsdens Arems on Talbot road, The Bomber followed a Troop train into North station but Dischared over thaat are missing the Station which at the time was full of newly arrived troops was this atack called off by orders of the Furer or a mistake of navigation it makes you wonder concideing the artical
