Thanks everyone.

I have been meaning to check back in here for a while, but as some of you know I went FT on the 20th December - and my life has been pretty much of a whirlwind ever since - I just haven't stopped !!!

Last week was my first week back at work after Christmas, and my first week, of course, as Jennifer. I was absolutely brilliant and everything went really well :)

It was a bit tough on Friday 'cos I was really uncomfortable about my facial hair, but I had electro on Saturday morning, so there was nothing I could do about it. And on top of that I got unexpectedly summoned to a meeting in Manchester. I'd been to that office in Manchester on the Wednesday for a couple of meetings, and that had gone alright, but few of them there know about me, so I really was a bit worried about my stubble. But I survived - without any funny looks or remarks.

Saturday, my birthday, was electro, then a trip to the local salon to have my nails done (birthday treat), and then a really good evening in Manchester with 3 friends from work and a couple of their friends and partners.

Today has been just catching up after a pretty hectic week - we are still incredibly busy at work - which you can't complain about in the current economic climate.

I'll definately have to go to Norway for a meeting before the end of January, and I may have to go it Italy too. I am going to have to put quite a lot of thought into each of those trips - simply because I haven't done a business trip as Jennifer before - and there is a chance that both the Italy and Noprway meetings will fall in the same week - so it could be 4 consecutive nights away !!!

With my first week at work having gone really well I was feeling pretty confident after electro on Saturday - so when this bloke tried to barge into the "hand basket only" queue in front of the old dear in front of me - I made a fuss and told him to get to the back of the queue !!! My voice is not good yet, it needs a lot more work, so perhaps the bloke was just too stunned to "read me", 'cos if if had I'm pretty sure I'd have been at the receiving end of some crude remarks. But it worked :) And the old dear in front of me, and the ones immediately behind, all thought I was a star - no matter what else they were thinking :D

So things couldn't be better - and I had a great Christmas and New Year (Hi Linzi). And thanks again for all your birthday wishes - I got more cards this year than I've had for years & years - and all addressed to Jennifer too :)

I'll try and get back up for a Ren meeting before too long.
