Hair dressing
Have any girls ever visited a salon. I have been growing my hair for about 3 years but it has gone frizy with lots of dead ends.
Im having a bad hair day.
I have to do somthing soon but what and where? Any ideas? Going shoping dressed is just part of Sallys life, but hair dressing is very personal experiance and just a little scary,:)

What kind of hair brush do you use.?.. dont use a plastic one,, try using a wooden brush with metel teeth,,,it stops the static that causes hair frizz
this is really important when brushing wigs,, especially synthetic ones,, one sure way to quickly ruin a wig

I've got a very good hairdresser who looks after my hair. Unfortunately when it goes in for "Maintenance" this can take anything up to a couple of days!.........
Fortunately for me, I can just simply drop it off!.....:D...........
One "advantage" I suppose!......;)

is that the one near the town hall lynda? on the street with all the cafes were you can sit outside. If it is,, i have been there..he was lovely and so were the girls working there,, i left one of my wigs with him,,,,so he could cut it down and style it a bit... originaly he quoted me 10 pounds but when i went to collect it he said forget the charge,,, apparently one of the girls wore it so he could cut it propley:)

They love it Sally! I make an appointment at my local hair salon, usually before I am going on a 'T' event somewhere and i book to have my hair done (OK, boys trim but washed and conditioned) and after the hair it is out the back to a treatment room where i have the eyebrows shaped and my nails done. I am of course in 'boy' mode at the time and the girls always ask "where I am off to this time?" and they usually get shown a few photos from my previous 'T' event! They are super about it and it is SOOO relaxing having all the treatments (but more expensive than the barbers round the corner!)

I'm going to get mine do at Academy, in Blackburn College, let the trainee's have a go and help them in the future. Get them young, and use to dealing with transgender people and in the future, you may get a group of trans-freindlier people in the studio's. Hopefully the next time you see me will be sans wig with my own natural hair styled femme.
I have all my treatments done there, from nails to waxing to eyebrows, and the girls are great with me. They love having a "guy" in to work on as they get so few, so it breaks their routine and gives them a more extensive range of experience for the future.

I am a lucky lady because I have a choice of three salon's and a barbers shop all just around the corner from home. I have been to all three of the ladies salon's. Never the barbers but then the last time I was in one of these well got to be 20yrs ago now.
To be honest there is nothing so nice as having your hair done.. One even has a beauty salon upstairs. So I was in there today for a leg wax.
It is so relaxing I could fall asleep " love it "
There is no reason why you have to be a lady to have treetment in a ladies salon.
So visit your local hairdresser and enjoy.

When I look back at these early posts. Why should it be scary having ones hair done? Also there are still two seperate personalitys here, Sally being somone I could change into. I have to admit I spent most of my time male "Sally came out to play at times".
