Hello Lynda and Petra
I hope this letter finds you as well as possible, meI am feeling prretty fed-up and kind of lost at this moment, as you can see from my address I am no longer in Kirkham. I got moved here on Monday afternoon, the excuse that they used was a positive drugs test, but thaat was just the reason they needed, as hey were not happy, having me here, I was even told by one of the goveners that this is a mans prison and also referred to me as a he/she.
My solicitor is now i the process of making a case to put before the European Courts, as I am no longer prepared to just sit back and accept the crap that they dish out to people like "us" who are different.
What I am really gutted about is the loss of what you and Petra offer, as I said in the letter I wrote after I attended your social evening, for the first time in my life I felt normal and accepted for who I was and for that opportunity I shall allways be grateful.
At this moment, I have had all my clothes etc taken from me, so once again I shall have to fight to get them back. My sister is going to contact my solicitor and MP for me. I feel lost, they have said it is for my own safety which is just an excuse. Its quite ironic really I am on a wing with 120 other inmates, so should be like a kid in a sweetshop. Yet because of all the macho bullshit, no one is brave enough to speak to me in case they are labelled all the usual, Queer, Faggot, Barry-boy etc ...
From my heart I truly thank you and Petra for the way you not only allowed me to attend your meeting, but the way in which not just the pair of you, but everyone in attendance made me feel welcome and most importantly, normal.. Thank you....
You can read the letter in full at the next meeting....................
