At the Ren meeting on the 13th May I was talking to someone about pants that were helpful in controlling that male bulge instead of spending lots of money on specially made 'gaff's ('orrible name!)
I can recommend the following -
Light control = Sloggi 'Basic'
Med control = Sloggi 'Control' (but of course!)
Lots of control = Flexees (I wore a pair of these under my slacks when we went out for the meal (advertisement - see photo on my Album)

I wear Primark 'Secret' Seamfree Boxers (small ladies boxers). I am 10-12 so I buy size 8-10, pack of 2 for £4.
I dont have a lot of money so find these very good... usually. For some odd reason some colours seem tighter, Black are the best, Striped and Pink the worst.
I like them as they have a little bit of leg to them, which helps keep my tuck under control, even in tight jeans.

A lady doesnt tell.....but I will.
I use school gym knickers, simple and easy.
Bit old fashioned i suppose, but they do what they are supposed to do, well maybe they were not designed purely for my type of useage.....

In "aviationspeak" It's called 'retracting the undercarriage!'.... So therefore, my Knickers are constructed by Boeing in the fair city of Seattle!..........;)
I find a Panty liner with "wings"......(No Pun Intended!)..... does the trick quite well, enabling me to wear a range of Knicker styles in relative comfort!

Yeah I use the panty liner trick occasionally, but not very often.

Not Slats then....?
Hope they respond better than the odd 777, when requested.

Could mean that if you use a panty liner it helps to 'lower the bump' I have used that method a few times for that purpose as well as for the one for what they were made for! (maybe we don't want to go there!)
But don't forget the 'Flexees' girls, they REALLY do work.

Interesting post--- I wear either french knicker (lacy) or directoires. The dresses I wear all have full skirts, so any "events" are not noticed. I need the full skirts on my dresses since I use a wheelchair. If I wore a tight mini I would be showing my drawers to all and sundry.
