I came home from Ren just after Midnight I was in bed by 12.30 and something woke me up, it was like someone slamming a door I wondered if someone was trying to break in I had a quick look round but couldnt see anyone (just my luck) then I heard about the Earthquake on the radio so this morning, so that must have been what it was

I certainly felt this, it woke me up, and was really scary.

My bed was wobbling quite violently back and forth and I could hear the building creaking and groaning. My computer desk and monitors squeaking and juddering, my canvas wardrobe creaking and groaning too, everything else wobbling and knocking. I think it lasted about 10 to 15 seconds, but not sure.

Luckily I'd fallen asleep with my lava lamp on (I am a bit scared of the dark) otherwise I think it would have been even scarier.

It was eerie afterwards, no sounds, no alarms going off, no traffic almost, I wondered if I had dreamt it.

I was awake at the time and knew instantly it was an earth quake
this the second one I have experience

The first was in Wales about 20 years that time I had to run out my house
The epicenter was only 10 miles away

I would reckon that at the time of the 'quake half of the 'Ren' girls would be hitting the nightlife of central Blackpool, were they in a fit state to realise that they were laying on the floor because of an earthquake, or of what they had in their glasses!

P.S. didn't wake me from my slumbers down here in Herts
