Hi, anybody had any experience of airbrush makeup?
I am in the States at the mo, and saw a kit being advertised on tv, looks good but is it any good for us "girls"? I like the idea of not haaving to plaster the foundation on like ...well, plaster, but also realise that I have to cover areas of my face.

I think that unless you find someone who has used the product and says it`s OK for them, then I would hesitate to purchase, since you have to apply it yourself, unless you have someone who will do it for you.

There are many types of make-up as well as price. Seek one of the `better type` make-up companys such as MAC LANCOME ETC.,ETC., and ask for a consultation of the type that suits your skin after inspection and advice.

Ask for a demo, so that you can see how it looks on you and also feel if it`s like your `plaster` you usually use!

So, do you feel able to go dressed, or have you to ask in DRAB mode...does not matter...what matters is getting the advice from the consultation. If needed take the courage into your hands and just ask, they will not be surprised, often there`s even a guy on the `counter` who is able to advise just as well as the girls can - but girls better understand the combination of dress and effect you explain you seek when you dress, is my experience.

Always remember that your £cash or $dollar is as good as any girls and the beautican is as eger to sell to you as the next girl. These days there are so many `girls` that dress out there now there now "three a penny" - so go for it soon!

You don`t always need to pay expensive prices for the `best make-up` WHICH SUITS YOUR NEEDS. You need to experiment as everyones skin changes a number of times over a lifetime, you need to reflect this in the materials you are using. Like life itself, nothing says the same - so it`s change, change and yet more change - but remember to enjoy being the girl -like we all do?

Thanks Michelle,
I am pretty brave and do shop myself, although not yet plucked up the courage to go dressed. getting there very soon I reckon. Airbrush makeup appears to be fairly new and maybe the latest "thing", quite expensive, however being over the pond I thought I might get the kit cheap. But not having used it I think it might be a waste of money for me, the problem I have is coverage of course, got to get that "stubble" sorted! Having looked at the kits, I have found a similar item for a fraction of the price...ok its a model-makers kit and does not come with the spray makeups but they can be obtained for a few pounds.
Will have to think about it, money is always the issue I am afraid.
On the positive side I have bought two new wigs, they are real nice quality and bought a blond and a dark brown for just under £40 the pair....not sure I will be able to resist buying more whilst I am here.....
